Nice blog marathe. Could you tell me what is the stuff involved between the actual snap and uploading the final pic. As in what effects do you add, is it photoshopping .. and that cool signature ? Any particular software ?

Hey... Very few photos of mine are processed. I process in Photoshop.
I add the signature/name to all photographs in photoshop and have created a "custom shape" from a scan of the handwriting. You can search for "custom shape signature photoshop" in google for the steps.
A couple of pics are cross-processed, changing the look and feel completely. One of them is HDR - high dynamic range photo. You can create an HDR photo by merging photos at multiple exposures (possible if you have a DSLR) or by faking the effect in photoshop.
I have a DSLR so most of my pics do not need processing. The camera settings are sufficient to ensure the final image looks as close as what my eye saw!
